Obituary for Helen G. Clark

Helen G. Clark, 92, left this earth to enter her heavenly home on Oct. 1, 2017.
Helen’s devotion to her family and her firm belief in God had been evident throughout her life. She was a member of Swartz Rd. Baptist Church and Grace Bible Church where she served as a faithful member and truly loved the Lord.
Helen was born in Uhrichsville, OH, to the late Albert and Artie (Gatchell) Chamberlain and lived in Akron all of her life. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, played the clarinet and always enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Lundie G. Clark; son-in-law, Bill Hill; and sisters, Lenora Crawford and Dorothy McFadden. She is survived by children, Ruth Hill, Jack (JoAnn) Clark and Alice (Dave) Lauby; 8 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial Service will be Saturday, Oct 14, 11:00 am at H B Moore Funeral Home, 936 North Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44310 (corner of N. Main St. and Mildred Ave.) with Pastor Cary Duckett, Celebrant. Visitation will be ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 N Main St, Akron, OH 44310.
