Obituary for Sylvia E. Moore

Sylvia E. Moore, 79, passed away on May 25, 2017.

Sylvia was born in Akron, Ohio to the late Fred and Grace (Fouts) McBride and lived in the Akron area all of her life. She was a faithful member of First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Sylvia is preceded in death by her loving husband, James W. Moore. She is survived by daughters, Pam (Dan) Freeman and Patty (Dale) Jarvis; sons, David (Jennifer), Don (Judy), Jim Jr. (Mary), and Doug (Cindy) Moore; 24 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis (Bill) Ebersole; brothers, Dennis and Fred (Debra) McBride.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be Friday, 11:00 am at First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls, 2253 3rd St. with Pastor Debbie Saxe officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 pm to 7 pm at H B Moore Funeral Home, 936 N. Main St., Akron (corner of N. Main St. and Mildred Ave.). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the youth programs at First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls.

Sylvia's family would like to extend a special thank-you to the congregation at First Christian Church of Cuyahoga Falls for all of there loving prayers and support.
