Obituary

Charles Eugene Etheridge “Chuck” “Buck”, 71, born March 30, 1950 in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee to Charlie Cancel Etheridge and Ruby Juanita Jackson, died August 19, 2021.

Chuck was preceded in death by parents; his brother, Kenneth; his sister, Billy Jean Lee; and nephew, Rudy Jarvis.

Chuck is survived by his daughter, Angela (Kevin) Sapper and granddaughters, Meghan and Mikayla. Lifelong girlfriend, Viola Montgomery, her sons, Keith (Tara) Lockhart, Bryan Lockhart Sr., Bobby (Megan) Montgomery, and her grandchildren, Bryan Jr., Destiny (Tommy), Kellen, Phin, Ari, Waylon, and great-grandchild, Lydia; sister in law, Paula Sharier, and brother in law, Gary (Kelly) Crafton.

Chuck is also survived by his siblings: his sister, Pat (Fred) Jarvis, (niece, Shauna (Brian) Smith; nephew, Don (Theresa) Jarvis); his brother, Jackie Etheridge (niece Dawn),  sister, Sandie (Jim) Jones, sister in law, Saundra,( nephews, Scott (Sue), Todd (Janelle)) Etheridge, and brother in law, Charles Lee, (nieces, Tina (David) Hummel and Tara (Dan) DeHarpart).

Chuck was a truck driver for over 30 years, working for such companies as Falcon, Rt.80, and Paul Watts. He was also a member of the local social clubs: Barberton Civitan Club, Barberton Social Club, and Barberton Liedertafel Club.

He had many extended family and friends. Chuck will be missed.

Thank you to Compassionate Care Hospice and the help that they had given with special thanks to Janis, Melissa (Chuck always called her Miranda), and Robbie.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
